Tara obtained her Canadian Championship in six weekends at ten months of age and finished with a four-point win. She is a Specialty Sweepstakes winner and Best Puppy in Group winner. Tara has won multiple sporting group placements in limited showing and has enjoyed Junior Handling with my son.
Tara is well balanced with a beautiful sporting head, huge forechest, solid topline, powerful, wide rear and correct coat and not to mention her outstanding temperament.
Tara is the undefeated strip down queen four years running at the Thunder Bay Cocker Spaniel Club Specialties.
Tara has two champion daughters, Can CH Shaankata’s Loaded Soda and Am/Can CH Shaankata Chrisan Dreamcatcher.
Tara now looks forward to being a grandmother and is enjoying retirement with her new family Preston and Heather Rae of Dryden, Ontario, Canada.
Tara is eyes CERF, hips OFA good, patella’s OFA, thyroid OFA and von Willebrands normal.
Tara’s sire K.C. is listed in the NAFA standings as the #15 placed flyball cocker with 20,247 points. K.C. is also one of only 15 cockers to have earned a flyball Onyx title.
In addition Tara’s sire K.C. was the #13 conformation cocker in Canada in 1997 in very limited showing!
