Tori – there are not enough words to describe this incredible bitch! Tori was born a singleton puppy and we knew she was special immediately!

Tori’s first weekend out at 6 months of age she won Best Puppy in Specialty at the Thunder Bay Cocker Spaniel Club’s Specialty Show. A Canadian Champion at 7 months of age in just four weekends and accumulated six Best Puppy in Group wins. At 11 months of age she won 1st Award of Merit and Best Puppy in Specialty at the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada’s Winter National in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As an adult Tori was a multi group winner in Canada and won Best in Specialty at the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Manitoba’s Specialty under judge Anne Rogers Clark. Tori also won the Manitoba Sporting Dog Specialty under judge Everett Dean with an entry of 99 sporting dogs and it was the first time ever won by a cocker!

Tori went on to become #1 Bitch Cocker in Canada in 2001 and #6 Cocker. Tori is also third generation BISS winner.

In 2002 Tori went stateside with handler Heidi Amour and quickly obtained her American Championship in 4 weekends with two specialty majors one at Maryland Cocker Spaniel Club and the other at Mid-Michigan Cocker Spaniel Club. As a special Tori picked up several variety wins before coming back home.

In 2003 Tori again went stateside with handler Heidi Amour for Westminster and associated specialties. Tori picked up Best of Opposite Sex in Variety at the Southern New Jersey Cocker Spaniel Specialty and had a television appearance from the Westminster Kennel Club show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Tori has also appeared on television for Global in Edmonton, Alberta and on Animal Planet featuring Tori being shown in Maryland.

In Canada, Tori was specialed by both Leanne MacIver of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and myself. Tori was such a frequent flyer with Bearskin Airlines, Air Canada and Northwest Airlines she quickly became friends with many of the pilots and crewmembers. Oh the stories Tori could tell! All this traveling takes a very special kind of dog with a very special temperament and Tori relished in the attention and loved the show ring! The more people clapped the more she showed! Tori won over the hearts and had a supportive audience wherever she went. Thank you to everyone for supporting Tori and assisting Tori in her many travels throughout Canada and the U.S. – the list is far too long to name individuals – but you all know who you are and thank you!

Tori was retired from the show ring in May of 2003 to begin a new chapter as a mom. So far as a mom Tori has produced two litters, each of which have been singleton pups. Can CH Shaankata Kataxin Guiltyas Sin and Can CH Shaankata’s Peppermint Pie. Tori and her daughters won Best Brood Bitch at the Thunder Bay Cocker Spaniel Club’s 2005 Specialty.

Tori came out of retirement in 2008 at the age of 8 to obtain her Rally Novice title in 3 straight trials including a 3rd in class and the same weekend also passed the requirements for her Canine Good Neighbour title. All of this qualified Tori to become a CANADIAN GRAND CHAMPION! Tori is the first female cocker, the 2nd parti colour cocker and the 6th cocker to achieve this very prestigious title!

Tori has an exquisite head, solid topline, excellent reach & drive with beautiful side gait & an outstanding outgoing temperament! Tori is the epitome of breed type and movement and a wonderful ambassador for the breed!

Tori is eyes CERF, hips OFA excellent, patella’s OFA, cardiac OFA, thyroid OFA and von Willebrands normal.

Tori also enjoys being a half sister (on her sire’s side) to some very distinguished half brothers.

A very special thank you to Kay Nickle of Nickleodeon Cockers for allowing me to have Teka bred to your Quinn which resulted in this very special girl!
